At the risk of sounding like a dork second to none, I just had to share with everyone who reads this blog that approximately 10 minutes and 32 seconds ago, I completed Final Fantasy X-2. I am now going to go hide in a corner and listen to Avril in a desperate bid to be cool once more, but it was all SO worth it.

Before I actually get into the meat of this post (assuming, of course, that it HAS any meat), I have to take a brief moment to pay my respects to someone who has done nothing but praise me and heap adulation upon my head. I refer, of course, to Sarah. Although I don’t know Sarah particularly well, and we’ve never met, I find that there’s something remarkably evocative in the sheer depth of her writing. There’s no pretense in her [...]

So, is it unfair or strange of me to be pissed-off when the guy who I kind of like, at least I think I kind of like him, keeps blowing me off (and not in a good way), with excuses about how he’s got plans and how he’s busy, only to run into me later on the same evening that he was supposedly “busy”, a trend which has been going on for at least three months now, and is it [...]

Due to popular demand, I am about to thoroughly embarrass myself, since the termination of the last vestiges of my self-respect is long overdue. That’s right. I’m going to tell you about how I came out to my friends at the ripe old age of twelve. Or was it thirteen? I forget exactly, but the circumstances are, nonetheless, marginally entertaining. Sit back. Relax. Light up a joint. Have a drink. This could take a while.

I’ve been receiving a fair number of referrals from Orkut, all of a sudden, which worries me to an extent. Perhaps because I know that there are some tech-savvy family members out there who are most certainly on one of these social networking sites,(recent comments regarding Orkut are less-than-confidence-inspiring), and while I don’t really mind being “outed” to some of them, I know that the inevitable spread of rumours amongst my family would probably destroy my mother. I mean, really [...]

In response to a comment by someone earlier The only reason I’m trying to stay anonymous is because I don’t want to get my family pissed-off above and beyond where they already are. Otherwise, I have no reason to believe that this will stay a “closed” blog. On a side note, stalker…did you think I’m cute?

…is going a bit far, don’t you think? From this site comes the following: NEW YORK: Get used to this name: Pavitr Prabhakar. A frail-looking Indian boy, he will soon be the new avatar of Peter Parker aka Spiderman. Marvel Comics, in association with Gotham Entertainment Group, have decided to give a new face and spin to the adventures of Spiderman.

This lady is my new favourite person. And here’s why: “Matt is the frequent auditor, or rather, lector, of my frequent reprises of The Blogger’s Lament, which, as all of you know, is “Where are the comments? Where’s the love? Why don’t these slackasses comment?” It makes me sad, nay! morose, to see “0 comments” after my posts. But what distresses me more than the lack of my comments on my stuff is the lack I see at Sin City. [...]

Despite my best intentions, and repeated mutterings of “EITHER drink OR smoke, not both, not both”, I somehow find myself waking up the morning after a party with a throbbing hangover as well as the scar tissue from my lungs dotting my pillow. A pleasant image, I know. Most of the morning after a party is spent in arguments with the family, all of whom have suddenly managed to cultivate heretofore unheard-of levels of concern for you, and consider lunchtime [...]
