People, this is awful(ly funny). The blog voting has come down to a neck-and-neck race! Go here and vote away, because this is just awesome on SO many levels now. Remember, you can vote once every 24 hours. I need new buttons to add to my blog!

On nights like this, when I’ve had too much to drink, when my life is fucked, but I’m trying to get over it, I also try to not be entirely too maudlin. Ergo, all I can say is that my life, in the manner of all dramatic oscillations, the world over, is occasionally spectacularly happy, and sometimes so full of shit that I’m amazed to look around and see colours other than brown.

I was at an acquaintance’s wedding tonight, and wound up being forced into dancing with her (so to say) straight brother, who, when I complimented him on being one of the few straight men who could keep up with me, leaned over and whispered: “Well, who says I’m straight?” I’m SO shagging his taut little buttocks.

Should I be disturbed or pleased at the fact, that at a wedding last night, after having had a heart-to-heart with Ex-Best-Friend, which was obviously ignored because I wound up being left on my own for the next 4 hours ANYWAY, I was talking to a rather attractive Australian World Bank employee based in Jakarta, who turned to someone when he thought I was getting a drink and hence had temporarily lost use of my aural facilities, and said: “[Sin]‘s [...]

To all those who have been affected by the recent disaster in Sri Lanka…my condolences, and the (admittedly ineffectual) hope that things will become rapidly better. Loki, are you all right? I can’t fucking leave comments on Blogger sites because my ISP is fucked up, so this is the only way I have to ask. Pray people. Even if you don’t believe, pray. And hope.

I was browsing through the thoroughly suspicious and potentially-litigious file server hosted by my ISP today, when I came across something that almost led to an embarrassing incident of widdling all over myself. We’ll get to that in a second. God knows I have nothing else to do today, sitting at home, pretending to all and sundry that I’m asleep because I’m simply not in the mood to face or deal with people at all. And I’ve only rarely meant [...]

Hello all my pretties. If I have, by mistake, forgotten to link to you (and you have linked to me), then I’m a very bad person and would greatly appreciate an e-mail telling me that I’ve ignored you in a horrific manner. The address is my name at this domain name (c’mon, you can figure that out, can’t you? Sin and venialsin.com would be the first and second parts).

…especially those who’re your friends, but then meet some random-ass guy, fall head-over-heels in lust with him, and proceed to ignore you completely and utterly for the duration of this sad period of genital interaction, until of course they break up or are otherwise estranged, and then you’re their best friend and support staff and world all over again… Those straight girls suck. But enough about that. Go here and keep voting for me! I’m being caught up to, slowly [...]

If I ever manage to get my hands (even a few fingers will suffice) on the genetically unfortunate and (possibly terminally) unlucky excuse for a retail clerk who made the tragic, tragic mistake of swiping my mother’s AmEx for copies of Dale Carnegie’s “How to Stop Worrying and Start Living”, Dr. Phil McGraw’s “Family First”, and some son-of-a-bitch’s “Chicken Soup for the Soul”, I swear, there shall be hell to pay. Who the fuck let her loose in the self-help [...]

Go to this link immediately. English and Literature majors will be more amused than anyone else, but I feel that anyone with even a tenuous grasp on academic reality will appreciate this. The Postmodernism Generator: Communications From Elsewhere
